We started Sixth Degree because we watched Canadian brands settle for US platforms that treat Toronto like a rounding error, and watched real creators lose deals to accounts with purchased followers. The people building culture here should get tools built here.

Brands fund the full fee to escrow before work starts, so creators never chase invoices. Creators keep 100% of their quoted fee. Funds are released when the brand confirms the post is live, or automatically after 3 business days if the brand takes no action. If there's a dispute, release pauses until it's resolved.
Verification is a human decision, not an algorithm's guess. A person checks that the account is real and belongs to the creator, that their photo is them, that they're based in the Greater Toronto Area, and that their content is something a brand would be happy with. Every creator is due for a fresh review every 60 days. Brands can only hire creators who pass. The platform enforces it.
From public posts by Toronto accounts in the niches we cover. Each post is ranked against what that account usually gets, so a big account doesn't win just for being big, and every idea cites the posts it came from, each with the date we read it. AI drafts a brief from the idea you pick, and you edit it before anything goes out. Nothing in it is a promise of results.

Follower band. Nano creators usually have a few thousand followers; micro creators reach into the tens of thousands. Both trade raw reach for trust: smaller audiences that actually know them. On Sixth Degree you can filter by follower band, niche, neighbourhood, and rate.
